Olives are harvested around Vela Luka on the island of Korčula in southern Croatia — a recognised PDO origin for olive oil. Ante coordinates harvesting, pressing and collaboration with local OPG growers on Korčula. Olives reach the mill within 24 hours of harvest and are cold-pressed immediately. The short handling time is critical to preserving polyphenol content. Polyphenol analysis is performed by HPLC at the University of Split after bottling.

What does 700+ mg/kg mean?

It is our guaranteed minimum per harvest. Our current batch, 2025-VL-MIR-001, measured at 1004 mg/kg by HPLC analysis at the University of Split. Ordinary olive oil sits at 100–250 mg/kg.

What is EFSA eligibility?

The EU's food safety authority EFSA has authorised a specific health claim for olive oil with sufficient polyphenol content: that olive oil polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress. Our oil exceeds the threshold by a wide margin.

Why pre-order?

We bottle in limited batches direct from harvest. Pre-orders allow us to plan production and ensure the oil reaches you at the right time. Charged now, delivery October 2026 for Pre-harvest and December 2026 for CORE, subject to minimum order volume being reached. Full refund if delivery cannot be fulfilled.
